I was at that UF game. Loudest I've experienced. Couldn't make the UGA game, sold tickets.
My take, and probably most everyone's, is that Tua will make our offense explosive, open up the running game because of the downfield threat, but we're gonna see a lot more turnovers than with Jalen. For sure. Hard to beat two interceptions for the year or whatever it was. But the points on the board should more than make up for it. And by November when the big games get here, hopefully Tua's experience level is such that turnovers settle down.

Original post reminded me of comments by Husker HC Scott Frost following the day after Tua's throw.

"It was a decision I don't know I would have been courageous enough to make. That's the answer you want to hear. The other answer is that Tua is pretty obviously better and they had 12 games to figure that out and didn't," Scott Frost told ESPN's Sam Khan Jr. "Coach Saban is above criticism with everything he's accomplished, so I don't mean it that way, but I recruited Tua out of high school and knew what he could do and it doesn't surprise me that he did what he did. Jalen's a great player, too. That was a very bold and courageous move and I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier [in the season]."
