The other ZE is Rockwall-Heath (TX) and Minnesota commit, 2022 RB Zach Evans...
Same reason that the East gets stomped every year in the SECCG...
BBQ is a method of grilling, it's not a cut of meat and its definitely not a gdm sauce or baste...

Good bbq is smoked on wood with or w/o charcoal. That's it, whether you're in SC, TN, KC or TX.

Sauce on the side. Wet BBQ is junk. All that other shite is fluff....
....said the Kentucky mushroom
Being a deep state, pedo perv is business as usual here, wtf do you expect?
Your GameDay opps always gonna hope you fail...

Who?
Good. Mahomes and LT were 3-stars. You should really cherish the table scraps that the state of TX leaves for you baws tho...
Ok so let's look at California. Huge state, nice players. Yet, there's never been an in-state player from Fresno St, SJSU, SDSU or USD, to ever win sh!t. Why? Because quantity doesn't always mean quality.

No FL guy from USF/UCF/FAU/FIU is winning sh!t anytime soon either...same reason

Yet, Baylor/SMU/TCU/TTU have produced some real NFL legends...Why?
Because of the FOOTBALL CULTURE in TX...Size alone ain't the reason. And I've never said that TXHSFB is the best, once...It's far from overrated tho.

Ok, so big states have big prison populations. Great. What's that got to do with LT being a HOFer or Mahomes being an NFLMVP?

You're saying that they're automatically supposed to do those things just because TX is a big state? They play good ball in TX at the HS level...

In the 2020 NFL Draft 7 of the first 45 players were from Houston alone. 15%. They went that high because TX produces good ball players...PERIOD
That's not overrated or because of size alone..
You might say the same about TX. If TCU/TTU/BAY/SMU/UH didn't exist + a damn good coach - there may be an extra natty or two in the state of TX...
The by-product of prison & gun culture in an outlaw state, I guess. I find that it's easier for me to buy guns legally here in FL than it is back in TX tho...
Think about TXHSFB like this...
Imagine UCF/USF/FIU/FAU players winning Heisman Trophies and NFL MVP awards...That's always happened in TX.
I really dgaf, but none of them Heisman winners played for TU...start there
Cali is woofing hard about Mater Dei beating Duncanville TX down 45-3 last night...ok

Heisman Trophies last 10 yrs:
TX-4 CA-ZERO
K.Murray - '18
B.Mayfield - '17
RGIII - '11
J.Manziel - '12*
*In the SEC
CA - No trophies
CA HSFB products not on TX level in the 2000s
'05 Natty in their backyard
'19 JHurts & OU beat down UCLA in their backyard

No, TXHSFB is not overrated

California has put out the best talent all-time

You have to wonder about people who make USELESS blanket statements. That's why you make lists like these. Who else you going to gauge current players against? HOFers, All-Pros, POYS and MVPs. Who produces and who's just LIP FLAPPIN. Strahan, Randle and J. Greene would be still HOFers in today's game.

You probably have to go back to leather helmet great, great, great grand pappy's days to find a front 7 from CA or LA comparable to TX.

Cali DL - ZERO HOFers.
Let that sink in while you dick-ride Cali homie...
A. Hicks
McGinest
M.Wiley
Ngata - may be hof someday
L. Glover - Saints
B.Mebane
Charles Mann
KGB (GB)
Ben Davidson
Mike Patterson

LBs - really nice group
Seau - HOFer
H.Nickerson
J.Porter - multi pb's
B. Wagner- All-Pro
Rod Martin
Norton Jr
Fred Warner - Pro Bowler
L.Briggs - multi pb's

That's FAR FROM the MOST TALENTED front 7 EVER all-time. LOL. Try again brah. Population size alone DOES NOT EQUAL QUALITY. (The per capita guys will always let you know.)

Virgina and the Carolinas have better front 7's than Cali...
Harvey Martin, Dan Hampton, Ray Childress, Jacob Green would get lots of PT on Cali's and Louisiana's DL. They don't sniff the field on the TX squad.
Ngata would see time at NG for TX.

No one else on CA's DL PAST OR PRESENT even makes the TX roster. Think about that.

Quality > per capita
Quality > population size

Despite the per capita numbers, the QUALITY of Louisiana front 7 NFL products vs. TX front 7 NFL products is not even close...

Michael Strahan HOF
John Randle HOF
Von Miller 1st ballot HOF
Joe Greene HOF
Mike Singletary HOF
DEs-
M. Garrett All-Pro
D. Hunter (Katy) All-Pro
H.Martin - NFLDPOY & SBMVP
DTs -
Michael Carter - multi pro bowls
Jerry Ball- multi pb's
Casey Hampton - multi pb's
Shaun Rogers - multi pb's
LBs-
Derrick Johnson - multi pb's
Ken Harvey - multi pb's
JTrotter - multi pb's
Jesse Armstead - 5xpb & 3xap
Zach Thomas - should be in HOF

Quality > per capita

The two best OTs in the NFC for the last decade both played HSFB in TX. Jason Peters and Trent Williams. How's that underproducing?
Underproduced using what metric? National Championships? NFL All-Pro awards? Definitely not HOFers. Half of TX is Messican and don't play football, so it should be a "football participation demographic" any way....

TXHSFB is doing something right when it comes to producing HIGH QUALITY pros.

Despite playing in less competitive college conferences (SWC & Big 12), against less successful teams than the SEC has, TXHSFB players have won A TON of NFL Awards and have the most NFL HOFers when playing against the best competition in the NFL... The NFL thought very highly of TX players in the 2020 draft...Where's the underachievement?

NFL HOFers:
TX - 30
CA - 19 + 2 last induction
FL - 11 + 4 last induction
Cali is the big underachiever...
And FL not catching up anytime soon...
