Anybody taking arkansas -2? Would like to see how arkansas does on the road tonight. Arkansas is 7-20 at The Hump.

The #Fastest40 Facts
• Arkansas debuted in the AP Top 25 Poll on Monday for the first time since March 2015, checking in at No. 22.

• The Razorbacks have a 396-111 record all-time as a ranked program, including a 5-2 mark under head coach Mike Anderson in SEC road games.

• Daryl Macon was named SEC Player of the Week on Monday, joining current assistant coach Scotty
Thurman as the only Razorback players to ever earn the award twice in a three-week span.

• Dating back to 2015-16, Arkansas is 8-3 in its last 11 SEC road games, including a 6-3 mark last season.

• Following Saturday’s win at Tennessee, Arkansas’ RPI jumped from No. 15 to No. 4 according to the NCAA, while its strength of schedule is at No. 16 in the nation.

• The Razorbacks have two AP top-20 wins in the last five games and multiple top-20 wins in the same season for the third time under Coach Anderson.

• During the last four seasons, Arkansas ranks second in the SEC in league wins with 35. Mississippi State ranks 12th in the conference with 19 victories.

• For the first time since the National Championship run in 1994, Arkansas has scored 90-plus points in nine of its first 13 games.

• Arkansas is one of three teams in the nation to rank in the top 10 in points per game and assist-to-turnover ratio, joining No. 4 Duke and No. 25 Creighton.

• The Razorbacks lead the SEC and rank No. 9 in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio thanks to 115 assists and just 50 turnovers in the last six games.

A Win Would
• Give Arkansas a seven-game winning streak in five of seven years under Coach Anderson.

• Send Arkansas to a 2-0 start in SEC play for the second time in the Mike Anderson era and the sixth time since joining the league 27 seasons ago.

• Give Arkansas a victory in its SEC road opener for the third time in the last four years.

The Best Guards In The Nation
• In the upset win against No. 19 Tennessee, Daryl Macon’s 33 points and Jaylen Barford’s 28 points marked the first time Arkansas has had two 28-point scorers in an SEC game.

• Against current AP Top 25 teams, Barford (22.7) and Macon (22.3) have combined to average 45.0 points per game in three contests.

• Barford is the only player in the SEC to rank in the top three in points per game (3rd) and field goal percentage (3rd).

• Against Tennessee, Daryl Macon became one of six players in program history to record multiple 30-point games against SEC opponents.

Mississippi State

-MSU 45-39 in SEC lid-lifters
— 30-19 at home, 15-19 on the road and 0-1 at neutral sites.

-The Bulldogs are 3-1 versus Arkansas in openers, with the last meeting coming in 2012, a 98-88
loss in Fayetteville.

-MSU’s most common league-opening foe is Auburn (21, 10-11).

-Mississippi State has lost four-straight SEC openers, with its last win coming against South
Carolina in 2013.

-With his one block against the Ospreys,
Aric Holman needs just five more to tie Gavin Ware for the eighth most in school history.

-Against North Florida, MSU scored 100-plus points for the first time since a 106-88 win against
Eastern Washington in Ben Howland’s first game as head coach on Nov. 13, 2015. It also marked the 54th time in school history the Dogs have reached the century mark.

-The 109 points scored were the most since MSU totaled 107 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on
Nov. 23, 1999.

-Mississippi State has now shot 50 percent or better from the floor seven times this season. Last
year, the total was eight.

-It’s 62-percent shooting against the Ospreys was its best since making 62.0 percent of its shots
against Auburn on Jan. 16, 2011.

-Against North Florida, both Aric Holman and Xavian Stapleton had career highs with 23 and 16 points, respectively.

-Abdul Ado has 28 blocks on the year, a total that’s eighth best by an MSU freshman in school history. His 2.3 clip is third in the SEC and the highest in school history for a freshman.

-The Bulldogs have now won 11 home games, it’s most since also winning 11 in 2014.

-MSU leads the SEC and is 21st nationally in points allowed at 62.6.

-Mississippi State is looking for its first 13-1 start since opening the 2003-04 campaign 21-1.

-The Bulldogs are looking to snap a 18-game losing streak against ranked opponents.

I'll be honest. Arkansas -2 is one of those lines that looks like its easy money, but State's defense and rebounding could present Arkansas some major problems.

If State has any hope of making the NCAAT, this is one of those must win games.

Tuesday night at 8 pm, people still aren't sold on MSU basketball being good, students are still on break - it will be a dead crowd.

There will be little energy from the crowd. Would like to see Arkansas take care of business convincingly but history at the Hump says that probably wont happen.

This is what concerns me tonight. When we played at Houston, it was empty and we played like arse and didn't even get a bucket until after the first media timeout.

Basketball at State has lost its place. The Hump used to be hell for opposing teams and now the students barely know where it is on campus. Its going to take some wins to bring back the crowds, and its going to take some good seasons to bring back the environment.

Joakim Noah said MSU was the toughest place he ever played. That Demarcus Cousins "call me" game - those were great crowds.

Now the women are getting 9,000 for games against Mississippi Valley State that they win by 80 points.

-2 seems like the bet of the century. We might be good but we have no idea. We can fill it up and make it look so easy at times and then not score for 6 minutes. I’d take Arkansas but I was willing to bet the house on UL at the gator bowl and we ended up winning.

Your better off flipping a coin here. The pigs history is not good in Starkville and we have no clue what team will play tonight. We were cruising against Dayton and went brain dead in the second half and won it with a steal and a layup on the buzzer. State could have easily lost to Jax St, Green Bay, North Dakota St.(all at home)
I think us State fans are headed for a Jekyll and Hyde year

Bookies have you right where they want you
Both sides look appetizing
I do hope you take you hogs and get pounded

Two things that look similar and strike fear into Arkansas fans:

Humphrey Coliseum

and Bundt Cakes
