Modest people can be miserable too.
Just say you’re thankful that your wife is a happy person despite living with your judgmental arse and move on with your life.

this happened in Covington in the late 90's from the monkey farm on Three Rivers Rd. I think they caught all but a couple of them.

I see my brother and my parents daily.
on my mom's side, her parents are gone. I talk to one aunt and uncle on FB and see them once a month, I don't talk to my cousins on that side unless I see them out and about, but my mom's cousins I see a few times a month and have good relationships with.
on my dad's side, I talk to my cousins, aunts, and uncles daily and see them weekly at least. we are all super close and it always feels strange to me that it's not like that for other people and I feel bad for people who don't have the same tight-knit support system, it comes in very handy for most of life's situations.

I've seen far more women being unhappy for prioritizing career.
every third post in the br mom's group is about women saying that they're ready to divorce their husbands but they're SAHMs with no income for the lawyer.
 being abstractly unhappy because you want to be home with your kids versus being stuck and dependent on a man because you have zero income isn't really the same playing field.

My kid can live with me as long as they want, provided they are working toward something.
this. My kid is 23 and works on the road, he spends most of his life in hotels, but I'll never have a home without a dedicated room for him to put his stuff up and sleep at night if he needs to. I can't imagine not wanting my kid in my house.
