LSU did not file any lawsuits against the ncaa or the sec. Ole Miss voluntarily joined a conference and agreed to abide by its rules. The sec is part of the ncaa. When the ncaa rule chambliss ineligible, why did the sec and ole miss not comply?

Can you point me to where I can find the actual number of murders reported for Lake Charles between 1980-1999 as opposed to 2000-2026? Not the murder rate, the actual numbers.

"The Trace is a nonprofit news organization that focuses on gun violence". I can speak to my hometown of a little over 10,000 people now. Murders and shootings happen here more frequently here than they did in the 1980s, without question.

I started buying comics when i was about 6 or 7 back in 1978. Probably couldn't read but i liked the pictures. I quit around 1982 or 1983. I still have nostalgia for superheroes. Like I said, I'm sure they were always political, but a kid doesn't notice things like that.
Also, being patriotic in the 70s and 80s was not controversial to me as a kid.

Im glad i quit reading comics before all this garbage. Hal Jordan was the only green lantern that I recall when I was into comics. Comics may have always been political, but as a kid, i read for the superheroes and good vs bad, not sociopolitical commentary.

What is frustrating is the perception that LSU won the battle. LSU did not win anything. LSU was not the plaintiff in the lawsuit. The players won. If the players decide to go to another team instead of LSU, then what did LSU really win. The only reason LSU is in this position is because the fallout from hiring Lane Kiffin.
This scene is appropriate for spaceballs, not star wars. Luke throwing the light saber over his shoulder was just ridiculous as well.

How does a 14 year old get in a fist fight with an adult? Did her parents just allow an adult to fist fight their daughter? I would assume most 14 year olds, if bothered by an adult, would let their parents know about it instead of actually fighting an adult.

I don't think everyday Americans have any idea what goes on in these hearings. Most people have neither the time or inclination to watch 4hrs of this foolishness. Sadly, I don't think it matters for most of the constituents that elect these clowns

Regardless of which party you support, these are not serious people. Standing up with posters behind nadler while he was talking, interrupting and talking over each other. Same goes for the Senate, Kennedy being a notable example playing his foghorn leghorn character It really reminds me of a television show and these people are just actors. Serious people are the ones behind the scenes with the money.
