There's a difference between looking to maximize losses and investing in guys who fit a window. Our qb situation going into the season automatically disqualifies us from competing so audition guys for the future and throw as many darts as you can to find diamonds in the rough

But why? We are not a 33 year old wr away from competing
This year should be focused on getting young guys reps and clearing the payroll of as much dead weight as possible

Ufl would work better as the summer league version of the nfl. Essentially your draft picks, udfa's and your players 60-90 on your preseason roster are on farm team and it gives you actual professional competition to scout your guys against. Fans would have a built in rooting interest. The nfl could benefit if they embraced the idea by effectively dominating the entire sports calendar

Free trade would make it less expensive to export American goods increasing US manufacturing.
He's also still forcing China's hand which could create a void for additional US manufacturing, especially pharmaceuticals which should have never been in the hands of our biggest rival.
I think the the idea that the administration went into this with a specific goal is short sighted. I think they saw tremendous leverage which if used would be met with infinite international responses all of which had beneficial but varying outcomes for America. I'm also JAG so who knows
