I’m a UGA faculty who had tickets allocated to me, but now I can’t attend and will sell them at face value.

Section 630, Row 18, Seats 17 & 18.

I’ll take my cost - $490 for the pair, sold as a pair (not one at a time). These can’t be sold on Stubhub, so I’ll accept Venmo.

Email to bradfowd@uga.edu. Must talk on FaceTime or Zoom prior to exchange and will make Venmo and ticket transfer while on call.

I think you’re delusional. But, the good news is that you and Mizzou will get a chance to prove it. We’ll see.

Human beings absolutely can control whether they’re racist or drunken assholes and human being can also control how much carbon we dump into the atmosphere and, thus, how rapidly the planet heats up toward levels incompatible with civilized life.
Missouri over Tennessee and the two Mississippi schools??? Hahahahaha!!

Well, I needed a good laugh anyway.
No way in hell Bennett wants to sit.

I was there. The Tennessee players seemed pretty pained.

It won’t though - unless by “epic” you mean an even bigger beat down by UGA, then… sure.
Absolutely nothing. Honestly, I mostly forget about y’all now. I don’t expect that’ll change once you come on board.

Eh. I wouldn’t get too worked up about it. As I recall the year Dak broke out they went from unranked to #1 in the matter of a few weeks when they won, and then dropped back lower into top 15 when they lost. If they keep winning, they’ll get the ranking they deserve quickly enough. If they don’t keep winning, then they’ll keep they ranking they deserve. To paraphrase a State coach from a different sport: That’s football.
That’s literally exactly what happened. I get being excited for your team, but just making up sh!t isn’t a pretty look.

Well, I was just trying to point out that both sides are being less than charitable.

I was also mostly talking about the message boards. Nice list of venues. I’ve only been to about half of them.

I grew up in MS and live in GA, so, you’re a bit off on the Yankee smack. Nice try though. At least you didn’t accuse me of being from Florida.

Looking forward to the day...

It’s a tough time in the US these days, with lots of uncertainty all around - even in college football, which, while not the more important thing in the world, is still a lot of fun.

In the face of that, I guess it’s understandable that every single conversation here seems to devolve into political finger pointing. I wish we could resist that temptation; a little more forbearance would go a long way. Those who support Trump could pull back a bit on their contempt for the other side’s courage; those who support Biden might ratchet back their smug superiority.

Anyway, I really look forward to the day that I can go to a football game (or message board) and have a conversation without knowing anybody’s politics - when the only socially acceptable reason for me to hate somebody I don’t know is because they pull for Ole Miss.

That’s all.

Is Mussberger drunk?

He sounds worse than usual tonight.
