All part of our wonderful, enlightened, “progressive” world where more concern, care and resources are devoted to the well-being of the perpetrator who is considered the actual victim.
Of course, this only reaches so low on the progressive stack. If the perp is a straight white male, there's no excuse in the world that can justify any crime he committed. Hell, even in the case OP is talking about, people are blaming the husband for "allowing" his wife to kill his kids by not watching her around them 24/7.

With very few exceptions, there's no real need to watch any film or TV series made after 2015 or so.

There is a reason Victoria's Secret stock is up 20% since ozempic became so widespread. Didn't do that shite when they started catering to the fluffy ones out there, thats for sure.
I remember going to Target with my wife in 2021 or so and seeing not just fat models on their banners, but fat mannequins everywhere. There wasn't a single thin female body type represented anywhere in the store. Even some of the men's mannequins had guts and man boobs.
Went back a few weeks ago and almost all of the models and mannequins are thin again.

re: How And Why Did Wokeism Gain So Much Traction And Support?
Posted by ThoUpOrange on 7/10/26 at 9:03 am to lake chuck fan
Wokeism is attractive to losers because it gives them an imagined moral high ground and the ability to bully others in a safe way that's approved by corporations, social media, law enforcement, risk-averse peers, and even employers.
Covid was a highly concentrated version of wokeism. Most of the people who screamed the loudest about social distancing, closing businesses, and making everyone mask/get jabbed weren't doing it out of concern for public health, but because it made them feel powerful.
There's also the BlackRock/Larry Fink/DEI score element here as well, but that doesn't fully explain why it emotionally resonated with so many people.

Immediately, silence came over the room. You could have heard a pin drop. I remember looking around to make sure I wasn't dreaming and saw half of the people with dropped jaws. My daze was interrupted when someone shouted, “Is this a f****** joke?” At this point things became chaotic. Two of the men who were part of the “unfamiliar” group grabbed the man who shouted out and attempted to remove him from the house. A few of us, myself included, tried to intervene. One of them pulled out a gun and we all backed off. They separated us from the crowd and all four of us were escorted outside.
If a story has elements that sound like they were written by a wannabe screenwriter, you know it's fake.

You're right. Because he was too busy to attend Don Jr's wedding, he is never allowed to enjoy any leisure activity for the rest of his life regardless of open dates and times on his schedule on any future date.

Admittedly I'm a Trump supporter but its still baffling how one man can make so many people act like complete lunatics 24/7 for almost 11 straight years now. What did Trump ever do to make these people so mad? I couldn't imagine giving any other person so much control over my life.
It's primarily women with daddy/ex-husband issues and the men who simp for them (or whose brains are very female-wired). Trump reminds them of men who hurt them in the past, and that recognition is only amplified by the media's constant negative reporting on him and the "ew, toxic masculinity" culture we live in.
There are plenty of people who simply disagree with his politics, dislike him, and vote against him who aren't obsessed or deranged. But the people who have let him live rent-free in their heads for over a decade generally fall into the above category.
