If (and big if) Auburn beats Bama and Bama turns around and beats UGA in SEC Championship with OSU, Cincy, and ND winning remaining games. What happens?

I would assume UGA still in even though in this hypo they would have lost to a two loss team ranked somewhere 7-10. Does the CFP committee bump a one loss ND for two loss SEC champ Bama?

ND has no shot. Also you're forgetting OU or oSu in your scenario.

In that scenario, Bama may be in. The argument would flow out:

Is Bama better than OSU? Absolutely not
Is Bama better than Cinc? Likely yes
Is Bama better than ND? Likely yes

Then they'll have to go with the "deserves" argument.

Does Cincy deserve to be in? Yes
Does ND deserve to be in? Probably not.

Bama could get in with 2 losses. It is possible.

But .... what other one loss teams are there who won their conference that haven't been mentioned? Oklahoma St? Would be hard to keep them out also.

Only the CFB committee knows.

The W and L are only part of the equation.

Does Alabama lose on some fluky play, or win on some fluky play? Does Auburn blow out Alabama?

Auburn is so bad this year, losing to them would pretty much keep Alabama out of the playoffs regardless of the SECCG.

Hell, it wouldn't surprise me in that scenario if it's Georgia in the CFP anyway
