Time for Bama to think outside the box. TJ Otzelberger comes to mind.

Fennis Dembo
Dick Butkus
Miroslav Satan (would have been perfect had he played for the Devils)
Lance Pitlick
Oddibe McDowell
Many of Saban's earlier Bama teams wouldn't stay within 21 points of the 2018 rendition.

LSU has a fine enough defense, but their offense simply can't keep pace forever, and the D will start to tire midway through the 3rd.

LSU's defense will probably do just enough to keep Bama from hanging 50. And that's a huge compliment because Bama has never had an offense nearly as dominant as this one... ever. Outside of poor weather conditions, an obscene amount of penalties, injuries or turnovers on Bama's part, or Bama simply throwing the game (not bloody likely), it'll probably start close for 30-40 minutes but Bama will likely turn it into a rout to the tune of 38-13 or so.
Under, but not by much.

Bama will have 400 yards and 30+ points at the half, and then probably have 550-650 and 50 points when it's all said and done.

The defense will probably give up 25-30 points and ~400 yards themselves, but mostly in garbage time.
For all its money and resources, Texas has become a perennial 7-5 program since Mack Brown retired. USC and Florida are hardly the giants they were a decade ago either. Notre Dame may post gaudy records every now and then, but it's mostly smoke and mirrors. Even mighty Alabama was one more bad hire away from being mired in mediocrity.

No program is immune.

I'd give FSU about a 40% chance of pulling it off.

In other words, this is the highest probability against Bama in nearly a decade.
quote:

Ole Miss played better against Bama and was a tougher opponent than LSU on the day they played Bama.

That is the key phrase right there. After surrendering huge leads against FSU and Alabama, the wheels came off.

If they played again today, Bama's MOV would probably be closer to 45.
Auburn is the epitome of sleaze. 90% of its fanbase is inbred trailer trash and those that actually have tangible ties to the school are setting up slush funds to pay for the next hotshot QB's new ride. Granted cheating happens at every school in the land, but Auburn takes it to a whole other level. I pray for the day that that worthless "institution of higher learning" gets shut down for good. The AU family members aren't real Alabamians, real Southerners, or even real Americans. I spit on every piece of AU memorabilia I come across. Screw those hillbillies.
How about we just kick all these inbred white trash Auburn fans out and call it a day?

The rest of the SEC is awesome, but the Barn's fanbase is just plain retarded.

Florida State
South Carolina
Michigan State
Alabama

The crystal ball returns to the SEC, and it's the Gamecocks' turn this season.
East:

Mizzou, Vandy, Kentucky

West:

Auburn, A&M, Arkansas

Good game, LSU.

The Tigers looked sharp yesterday for sure. Even if some of the fans were disappointed with the bowl selection, the team sure played like they wanted to be there.

I was expecting a high-flying aerial attack, but it was Hill who stole the show. I just don't think anyone can really be completely prepared for him - the guy has an unreal combination of size and speed, and I have little doubt he'll do some serious damage in the NFL.

While the outcome of the game is disappointing, there's nothing to be ashamed of. Iowa hung around and had its chances, but didn't execute. LSU did. They're the stronger team, and played like it. Congrats on a well-earned win.
HawkeyeReport is a ****hole. Nothing but geriatrics and Gen-Y imbeciles.

We all know that UL is the Louisiana Cougars.
