Former Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel didn't mince words when he was asked about his former Aggies head coach Kevin Sumlin on Shannon Sharpe's podcast...

This is why Johnny is a failure. Sumlin was a grown man, an adult who is free to do what he wants. Manziel was a player, you have rules, you don't do things because other do them. You be responsible for you. You are in charge of you. Today, we have too many kids blaming superiors for their problems. "Well, if they get to do it"...that damn attitude is killing things. I high school when we had 3 a day camp, after the last practice every day the coaches would gather in an office and have some beer. Of course we were not to be caught with such stuff. It was, I'm your coach, do as I say, not as I do...and nobody questioned it. EARN, earn your way to being a coach and you can tell players what they can and can't do. I guess respect for authority was a thing back in the day.

Sumlin made most his money off Manziel’s coat tails with lightening in a bottle. His last major contract was all Manziel…

Manziel is a dumbass. The difference is that Sumlin was a grown man who had already made a fortune. If he wants to be a drunk degenerate that’s his call. It’s still his job to try to keep his players on a better path.

JM's 15 minutes of fame should be over now. Comical to even hear him say something about another person's problems when he has more skeletons in the closet than Arlington National Cemetery!
