Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava was notably absent from the team's spring practice on Friday.

This marks his first missed practice of spring camp and comes just a day before the Vols' annual Orange & White spring game.

His absence coincides with reports on Thursday of ongoing NIL contract negotiations between Iamaleava and the Vols.

College sports are just another part of our society ruined by liberals. Everything they touch turns to "crap".

F Tennesee, but this is good for CFB. Nicole can't hit the side of a barn if he was 5 yards from it.

Sitting out spring because of contract negotiation? They opened pandora's box with paying players.

OK. No more of this "they're just kids playing for the love of the game" crap. They are paid (professional) athletes open to criticism and scrutiny just like any other profession. The college game is officially dead.

We need to treat them as such. CFB is going to become loyal fan bases just kicking it because our players are twats.

This is wild. I guess it was only a matter of time until these spoiled children decided to "hold out" for a bigger payday just like their NFL peers. College sports have become pathetic
