Had a clutch problem with mine. It would mow for about 30 mins and blow a fuse. Put in a new fuse and it would cut for about 15 mins and burn fuse again. Install another fuse and then it would cut maybe 5 mins and burn another fuse. Let it sit a day and do the same all over again. I knew it was a clutch issue, called and suggested that to the dealer that I bought it from. It was under warranty, and when I brought it in they never could replicate the problem, and the clutch was testing ok by their own standards but…they were not using it long enough. They replaced the wiring harness, connectors, switches, etc, etc…. Finally put on a new clutch and never anymore trouble.

A good Black Cat artillery shell should take out a drone.

Terrible accident.
On year 4 of trying to recover from broken pelvis. Hard to walk, nerve problems with Bowel and bladder issues. Its no joke. Hate this for the poor guy.
I went 18ft to the concrete. Head and spine injuries are nice too.

re: More about Sepsis, probably the best article I have read about, worth its own thread IMO

Yes, had severe injuries but began to feel really sick. My wife insisted that I go to ER ( I probably wouldn’t have survived if she hadn’t) She took me to the local hospital, was feeling really bad. They kept me about 24 hours before determining I was going septic, sent me by ambulance to a University hospital and spent the next few days eventually recovering.

Went septic about 4 years ago from a reaction to medication. Was taking medication because of serious injuries received from a 18 ft. fall onto concrete.
I honestly did not think I would survive the sepsis and felt so bad I would have been fine with not making it.
It is no joke.

re: What is the funniest text ever sent to you that was meant for someone else?
Posted by TuckyTiger on 5/7/26 at 5:42 pm to Perfect Circle
I got one several years ago at Christmas Eve dinner, it was a picture of a little boy with an obviously different racial makeup from me and it said “Merry Christmas dad I love you”. Of course my wife wanted to know who the text was from lol

I have a ‘14. Changing it is not bad, just a little annoying to get the fluid level correct. Changed mine at 125k, will change again at 225k, which ain’t far off. Transmission has been flawless.

re: Did You/Do You Homeschool Your Kids?
Posted by TuckyTiger on 2/23/26 at 8:51 am to SaintlyTiger88
We homeschool our two. It’s one of the best decisions we ever have made. We try very hard to do things the right way and not take a haphazard approach to the learning process. Christian based. The flexibility to schedule around anything that pops up is such a blessing. I was injured in a work accident and the medical appointments (over 10 surgeries) would have been a serious problem for us if not for homeschool. Our kids get plenty of time to interact.

re: How do culinary practices differ between North and South Louisiana?

Rice and gravy lives in South Louisiana, just visits North Louisiana from time to time.
