Nick Saban is always grumpy about something. This week it's no-huddle offenses. In Tuesday’s SEC coaches’ teleconference, Saban was asked about the no-huddle offense trend going across college football right now. His answer...
quote:

“I think at some point in time we should look at how fast we allow the game to go, in terms of player safety,” “I think there’s got to be some sense of fairness in asking, is this what we want football to be?”

Why does anyone care what type of offense is run? SEC defenses have proven that they can stop Oregon and other no huddle attacks. And do more linemen get hurt in a no huddle than they do in a no huddle? One of the more ridiculous statemnets Saban has ever made.

While we are at it, let's outlaw disguising blitzes and coverages on defense, much like Saban does in his defense. You know, for the player's safety.

The NCAA should just let Saban make the rules, including what type of offenses and defenses are allowed. He is God, you know

The no huddle that Oregon et al plays is pussy. I hope they do something to eliminate it.

I agree. I hate watching football with teams like Baylor, Oregon, and Ok St. play offense. (I would say football but those teams do not play defense so I didn't bother)..
