The SEC announced Wednesday afternoon that former league Commissioner Mike Slive has passed away at the age of 77.

Slive was the SEC Commissioner from 2002 to 2015.

Prayer coming for family and loved ones. You may not have liked him, but he brought the SEC unparalleled growth and success. He also kept all of us out of trouble!
