Arkansas TIght End Found Dead In Dorm Room

Arkansas tight end Garrett Uekman was found dead in his dorm room Sunday morning. A team meeting was held this afternoon to inform the players of their 19-year-old teammate’s death. No further information has been released as to what caused the redshirt freshman’s passing. The school is expected to release a statement at some point this afternoon.

As an LSU fan , I am sorry to hear about the loss of Garrett. I hope his family and friends can find peace in their time of tragedy . It's really sad at any loss of life at such an early age .

I am deeply saddened to hear this. Such news brings one to the realization that all the glories gained on the field on those autumn Saturdays are nothing when held next to the extinguished flame, the passing of a young man in the prime of his life. My prayers are sent on behalf of this young man's family, team mates, and friends. May they each find comfort, solace,and strength during the trying times of the days ahead.
