SEC had 10 teams until 1992 and 12 teams until a little more than a decade ago. Doesn't seem top heavy to ne to have 6 separate champions.

Kentucky had a piece of the 1976 title.

But as to depth, except for last year UK has pounded Louisville. In 2023 a 6-5 UK team beat 10-1 Louisville at Louisville. A bottom dweller in the SEC beat a team that played in the ACC championship game.

The SEC top to bottom is far superior to the ACC

Finebaum needs to be retired. He has never been good and rode Sabans coat tails for 17years. He hasn’t had an original comment or thought ever.
