quote:Why? Carta-Samuels tore his ACL in his left knee during a win over Georgia on October 19th. Rather than sitting out the rest of the season, he missed only two games, rehabbing the knee and getting clearance from doctors to play the in Commodores’ final 3 games. He not only started all 3, but won them. Since the season has ended Carta-Samuels had surgery to repair the injured knee, which means he will not be playing when his team takes the field at the BBVA Compass Bowl on January 4th.
“That guy made the ultimate commitment to his team,”
