Steven Lassan with Athlon Sports ranked the top SEC offensive lines for 2014 and Auburn came in at No. 1. Here is what he had to say about Auburn:
quote:

1. Auburn
First-round pick Greg Robinson is a huge loss at left tackle, but the Tigers return four starters from a unit that paved the way for rushers to average 5.9 yards per carry in SEC play last season. Center Reese Dismukes is an Athlon Sports second-team All-American for 2014, while sophomore guard Alex Kozan is one of the SEC’s rising stars. According to Football Study Hall’s Bill Connelly, Auburn’s line ranked No. 3 nationally in 2013 in stuff rate and No. 2 in adjusted line yards.
Here is the complete ranking:

1. Auburn
2. Texas A&M
3. LSU
4. South Carolina
5. Alabama
6. Ole Miss
7. Missouri
8. Georgia
9. Mississippi State
10. Arkansas
11. Vanderbilt
12. Florida
13. Tennessee
14. Kentucky

LSU has the best OL in the sec with auburn a close second. Honestly bama's OL may be over-rated.

For a recruiting junkie, you sure are ignorant of what Auburn has returning on the OL

If they are honestly ranking auburn number 1 because of dismukes, that is laughable. I don't say this much but LSU has the best OL preseason wise. I hope Alabama puts the best 5 out there with out number 1 juco OL Jackson and we will have Robinson at LT with Kelly at center so seeing have the guards play out with be interesting

Yes, top 3! Paired with exceptional defense, and I think we have ourselves some big wins.

Didnt Ole Miss just lose a starting tackle to Auburn?

We're thin but our first-string is very good. Our success will depend on the durability of our line.

Isn't Ole Miss extremely thin on the o-line?

If Ole Miss is 6th I like our chances in 2014 in the SEC
