I think you need a DC that can run multiple Defenses, I strongly believe (as I did when Aranda was hired) that you need to have a 3/4 defense to defend the spread offense. Its why everyone in the NFL runs it and its so coveted. The days of the 4 down lineman are gone. Its a numbers game now.
