Tennessee announced on Tuesday that they have replaced UAB with Bowling Green to open the 2015 season. The game will be played at LP Field in Nashville, TN on Sept. 5th.

The Vols needed a replacement for their previous opener when UAB announced it was cutting its football program.

"We are pleased to announce that we have been able to maintain our plans to open the 2015 season in Nashville, now against Bowling Green," UT athletics director Dave Hart said in a press release.

Was a directional Tennessee school to busy to play? Bowling Green? Come on. This is what I hate about LSUs schedule. Playing crappy teams. I do think Bowling Green is better then some of LSUs non conference opponents though, and way better the UAB.
