Georgia announced on Friday that sophmore cornerback Shaq Wiggins is transferring. Head coach Mark Richt had this to say:
quote:

"Shaq and I have been talking over the last few days and a fresh start is what he believes is in his best interest," said Mark Richt in a release Friday night. "We respect his decision and certainly wish him nothing but the best."
As a true freshman last season, Wiggins started eight games and had 19 tackles and two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.
