ESPN released updated Week 1 SEC Power Rankings on Tuesday and pegged Alabama at the top followed by Texas A&M.
quote:

1. Alabama: Somehow the top-ranked Crimson Tide blew out USC 52-6 and didn't really play their best. With that defense and Jalen Hurts progressing at quarterback, this could be a scary team. -- Alex Scarborough

A&M does better as a dog.

Much better than the bs polls. Teams graded by what they did on the field rather than a beauty contest.

No, but... who was? I'd put UGA at 2 but I don't think anyone can argue with A&M at 3. Of course 2-14 don't matter much. Bama: damn!

Aggies got 3 picks & 5 sacks against the best QB in CFB. Add in the win and 10 tfl, and that is kinda impressive.
