Multiple outlets report that South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer is hiring Shawn Elliott to the Gamecocks coaching staff as tight end coach.
Elliott has been the head coach at FBS Georgia State since 2017, compiling a 41-44 record over seven seasons, and resigned this week.
Before his time with the Panthers, Elliot was on South Carolina's staff from 2010-2016.
