Ole Miss announced on Monday that offensive lineman Austin Golson will transfer to SEC West Rival Auburn. Per theclarionledger.com,

Ole Miss announced Monday that the sophomore offensive tackle will do so as a "walk-on," following "normal transfer rules."

"We wish him the very best," coach Hugh Freeze said in a statement.
Golson could play in 2014 only if he pursues a hardship waiver, otherwise he will not be eligible to play until 2015. It was reported last month that he was seeking a transfer closer to his Prattville, Ala. home in order to be closer to his sick grandparents.

The one time No. 3 OT prospect in the country, Golson played in 12 games last season as a right guard, all as a reserve.
