New Florida Coach Jim McElwain Not Happy With Roster
Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
Over the weekend, Florida's new head football coach Jim McElwain expressed his feelings about the depth, or lack there of, of his team at spring practice. Per 247Sports...

“You’ve got to play the hand you’re dealt,” McElwain said. “And right now, quite honestly, the hand we were dealt is really insufficient at some of the areas.”

The lack of offensive linemen — Florida currently has three walk-ons on the second-team unit, including the center — has made even practicing difficult.

“To try to even create kind of two groups is hard, so these guys, we’re giving them spells,” McElwain said. “Just kind of the way we practice, we had to kind of totally change how we will normally practice here in the future.”

Muschamp did not have a clue but McElwain knows how to build a program. Sadly Florida will be back soon. Roll Tide Roll. Why lie. The man can flat out coach. While at Alabama he help win 2 National Titles. While at CSU he took them to a 10-2 season and Coach of the Year for that Conference. Florida is fortunate to have an intelligent coach who knows how to recruit and put things in place. Colorado St. was in the dumps and he pulled them out. Jim McElwain is going to be a really good coach at Florida.
