This is the problem that I have with the media. The title suggests that out of nowhere Kirby came out to talk about Nick Saban on his own. They never explain that he was "asked" about Nick Saban

Well, his point was not school affiliated. His point was that the SEC rose to what it is because of what Saban started. Quality of coaching, facilities investments and recruiting all sparked from him. It was an arms race. Bama is central to that story, but all SEC programs have risen as well. Saban's legacy is beyond his coaching accomplishments. They extend to advocating for the future of what CFB should and shouldn't be. And, boxing out all other conferences on the whole of things as the SEC grew stronger because of him
