He is. He single handedly turned around that football program. In doing so, it increased school enrollment by almost double what it was from when I was there in 2004. Academics have in turn gone up, since the school can be more selective, etc.

It's a waterfall effect and it's all positive.

I think he's right. As a coach he realizes that Saban and Alabama get the best from whomever their opponents is that week. I don't think a lot of people realize how difficult that is to handle

Pinkel is projecting. If either of the two are underrated its Pinkel. Everyone already praises Saban but Pinkel rarely gets the acknowledgements he deserves for doing more with less.

Pinker has always been a winner at a school with not much football tradition...his teams always play hard and he has great offenses...two consecutive trips to sec CG says a lot about him!!!geaux tigers...beat da gumps...
