Geoff Collins has joined the South Carolina football staff as a senior defensive assistant.

The former Georgia Tech and Temple head coach brings nearly 30 years of experience to Columbia, including recent success as North Carolina’s defensive coordinator in 2024, where his unit finished among the national leaders in sacks.

Collins was the DC at Mississippi State from 2011 to 2014 and at Florida from 2013 to 2014.
