Multiple sources are reporting that Brian Kelly is expected to hire former LSU star defensive tackle Kyle Williams as the Tigers' new defensive line coach.
Williams was most recently serving as the defensive coordinator at his alma mater, Ruston High School, where he began his coaching career in 2020. He will replace Bo Davis, who recently took a job with the New Orleans Saints.
Williams played at LSU from 2002 to 2005, appearing in 46 games with 33 starts, and was the starting defensive tackle on the 2003 National Championship team.
