Following Missouri's 30-23 win over Oklahoma on Saturday in Columbia, Tigers coach Eli Drinkwitz clapped back at former Sooners coach Bob Stoops for previous comments he made about both programs during the summer. Per On3:
A few days later, Stoops responded to the comments that Drinkwitz made during an appearance Monday on SportsTalk 1400 KREF. Per SI.com:

“This will be real disappointing to Bob Stoops, but OU doesn’t always whip Missouri’s arse anymore. With that, I’ll open it up for questions,” Drinkwitz said.
Drinkwitz’ remark was a reference to a comment Stoops made this past summer when discussing Oklahoma joining the SEC.
“We beat the hell out of Missouri, all of a sudden now we’re supposed to be afraid of them?” Stoops told ESPN.
“Felt pretty good. I thought Coach Stoops did a nice job stirring it up this summer,” Drinkwitz said. “I thought their coaches did some stuff this summer that felt like they stirred it up a little bit, with some tweets and different things. So our guys were ready.”
A few days later, Stoops responded to the comments that Drinkwitz made during an appearance Monday on SportsTalk 1400 KREF. Per SI.com:

“Someone showed it to me yesterday,” Stoops said. “I started laughing. I said, ‘I didn’t realize — I thought — who cares about what a retired — I’ve been retired eight years and I’m still prominent on peoples’ mind.”
