Alabama sophomore running back Altee Tenpenny will be leaving the team.
Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports
Alabama sophomore running back Altee Tenpenny announced on twitter that he will be leaving the team. Per AL.com:
quote:

Tenpenny signed along with four other running backs in 2013 from North Little Rock, Ark., and never could get solid carries in a deep running back rotation.

Tenpenny carried 26 times for 136 yards this season and 22 times for 82 yards and a touchdown as a freshman in 2013. He also played on special teams.
Al.com also reports that reserve tight end Malcolm Faciane would also not return to the team. Alabama has not confirmed either departure.

"The past 2 years with the Crimson Tide has been a great experience," Tenpenny said. "I wouldn't trade it for anything! It's time to start a new chapter!"

Yeah...That sounds like a guy who got processed.

I don't see anyone leaving Bama as an academic casualty. If Eddie Lacy made it through school there, anyone can.
