My favorite NCAA metric is scoring defense and here is where they stand after this weekend :

#41 Missouri
#45 Vanderbilt

While it looks like they are well matched, add in who they played and you get (Big 5 schools in bold)

#41 Missouri : Murray State 58-14 / Toledo 38-23 / @ Indiana 45-28 / Arkansas State 41-19
#45 Vanderbilt : vs Ole Miss 35-39 / vs Austin Peay 38-3 / @ South Carolina 25-35 / @ Umass 24-7 / vs UAB 52-24

My thought is the Dores are in a good spot to win this. What are your thoughts?

Edit for weekend games and times :
Saturday October 5th 6:30 pm (7:30 EST) @ Dudley Field
4-0 Missouri @ 3-2 Vanderbilt (Homecoming Game)

Sunday October 6th noon (1:00 EST) @ LP Field
4-0 Chiefs @ 3-1 Titans

We need to do a good job of containing Franklin, but yes, I think we win a close one.

stat after todays NCAA run

41 Missouri
64 Vanderbilt

Not good for either when these 2 are tied for 4th palace in the FBS world

4 Florida
4 Alabama

Mizzou inched up a few spots but Dores slid pretty far for a single game. Auburn is the one quietly moving up the list. Agreed tho, D did not look good. What concert did you see instead of the game?
