Every time I am on campus I see more Asians and Indians and noticed at least 1 SEC school has this as a club sport! VCC

Vanderbilt Cricket Club
Cricket is played by more than 16 countries at the International level. The United States is also actively involved in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) trophy. However, although popular around the world, cricket is relatively unknown in the US. Vanderbilt, with its diverse and open-minded students and faculty, provides a great opportunity to have an active cricket-playing community. Every year, we recruit several new members, hold cricket workshops, and host practice sessions to familiarize those new to the game. While we believe in enjoying the game, the club’s bigger objective is to participate in cricket tournaments involving cricket clubs from other universities and in the Nashville area. We wish to host cricket tournaments -- putting Vanderbilt on the University cricket map. We encourage anyone wanting to play or learn about cricket to join us.
