A workout buddy of mine who works at BM says the commissioner wants to combine the SEC, ACC, and Big 12 into a super conference. Nebraska would be invited since they’re the only school who’s president/chancellor didn’t say their school isn’t playing football.

That was the implication since the Big 10 and PAC 12 aren’t playing.

Money is not the problem and logistics are what they are anyway.

It could be done and would be fun since we don't know where this season is going anyway.

All the players are well funded colleges so really not much more expense chartering a plane to anywhere in the Eastern half (Rockies)of the country.

Just don't think they will do it.

Of course they won't because it's a ridiculous idea. What does it even accomplish? Ignore the massive logistical issues. If all 3 of those conferences are good to play, what's the point in combining them into a 40 team league? Just everyone play as planned and at the end have a playoff of the 3 conference champs plus the highest selected non champ. That's far easier than some video game fantasy.

Maybe if it was proposed back in the spring, they could've found some creative solution but it's too late to scramble to form a super conference.

At this point, let's just be thankful/hopeful there will be an SEC schedule with an SEC Champ at the end and that'll be good enough to tide us over til fall 2021.

"tide us over" Not an acceptable phrase until we beat them finally this year (or next Spring or whenever)

BIG12 already released their schedule and Sankey has shot down anything but an SEC schedule. I imagine the schedule will be released soon. Also, you think they would try and throw together a 40 team conference at this point lol, come on.

Wait a min. Did Rex Feral’s workout buddy who works at BM miss on this?

Jesus Christ, if we can’t believe that guy then wtf do we have left to believe in?

Oh yea but the NCAA is trying to stop Ray now. It was hard enough when Mullen and Clemson tried to kill him.
