I want to go on record to say that I'm damn glad Jacob chose the University of Georgia to get his education and pursue a career in football. I hope he goes down in history as one of the greatest players to ever step through the Arches.
Jacob, if you are reading this, and I know you are, please know that all you have to do is listen to the coaches. They aren't trying to set you up to fail, they are setting you up for success. They want you to be successful. Do what they tell you to do, and you will be successful.

You can insert Tom Brady's brain into Jacob Park's skull and he will never start at UGA.
I dunno how else to say it.
Ask around, look into it.. learn how to read coach speak.. watch the tape.. evaluate the shite. He looked good in passing drills & the Dawgs freaked out and offered him.

So I'm supposed to value the opinion of a guy thinks the triple option is going places over two of the best QB coaches in college football? You've been on this train for months and I don't know why. I know you love to play the contrarian, but stick to studying the b-back dive. Guys who understand the passing game want to give him a shot.

Just because he looks like a douche and talks like a wigg doesn't make him a bad person. You need to remember that he is an 18 years old and, he is not anywhere done growing as person. Yes, he currently looks like a total douche, but that doesn't mean he can't/won't change.

Chris, I don't know what you've got against this guy personally, but we've done alright as a program in evaluating QB talent. Park may be a bust, but I trust our coaches to know a good QB when they see one. We've got plenty of talent on the bench right now, so I'm not concerned if he does turn out to be a bust. But I'd rather give him and the coaches the benefit of the doubt based on history at that position.

The guy was recruited by all the big schools, including Alabama. As soon as he outperformed all of the other qb's at the Elite 11 camp, one of the other qb's immediately committed to Bama, so Park immediately committed to UGA.
The guy is probably the 2nd best qb recruit in the entire country.

I'm genuinely asking here because I don't know, but is his high school overwhelmingly black? If so, this could be just an impressionable 17 year old kid trying to fit in with who he spends a lot of time around.
I don't care for that fashion style, but it's pretty dumb to freak out and degrade a kid who has zero record of wrong-doing because he dresses funny.

He was hyped at one point and people took notice.. being recruited heavily & having committable offers?.. sure prolly. The fact is, he would not be touched with a ten foot pole at this point... It's like drafting for any team.. some players you are happy to avoid... the recruiting/evaluating game moves quickly... and now we're already to the stage of how long will the Dawgs waste time vs (a Bama tactic) drop em like its hot.

You're on top of your mother. Tech's whole situation is fricked.
At UGA, there is a question mark over QB and defense with a new coach. At least we've got 4 and 5 star talent to sort out the questions with.
Tech has problems on every single unit, at every single position, not the least of which is quarterback. And the guys you have on the roster are all scrubs. Your situation is so dire that even if PJ wanted to quit, and not get bought out, no decent coach would want to walk into that.
What Spurrier did at South Carolina is shocking and amazing, it won't happen again for another 100 years.
Besides your mother, what are you on top of at Tech, what specifically as it relates to quarterback?

Yea, Chris, two elite 11 4 stars to choose from is a tough predicament to be in. Tech wouldn't know what that's like, though.
