Denver. No longer care about the Falcons. They're just not worth it. Live in CO and staying in CO, so now I'm a Bronco.

Give me one good reason to root for the Falcons, and not just b/c I'm from GA.

Akeem Dent?

I'm pretty sure there are only two reasons to pull for a pro sports team. You're from the area or you like a certain athlete that went to your favorite college.

People who pull for a random team with no ties to the area or interest in a favorite athlete are purely bandwagon fans and should not be taken seriously.

Fairweather fans are the worst types.

I talk to people and I am like...which teams do you root for and this is their list

Yankees, Bama, Lakers, Bulls but starting to love the Heat.

These types of fans kill me. One good reason to root for the Falcons would be that you called yourself a Falcons fan and you stick with them thru thick and thin. They made a run at the Super Bowl just last year and your diving off ship because of one bad season? You should have seen the 90's.

Because you obviously were a fan of them at some point. You can't just change over to a good team when we have a bad year and you live in an area with a good team.

Well you can, but nobody takes you seriously when you talk about your new team.

This, as a prior military I have lived in 8 diffrent states. I lived in Kansas for 4 years and could have easily picked up RockChalk Jayhawk basketball or became a fan of Wichita State but I stick by the teams I first fell in love with. That being said, I do have a small Wichita State fandom but it's very minor because I hate college bball but I lived there when they made an elite run a long time ago. :)

When I was growing up, baseball was my sport. I practically worshiped the Braves, but didn't care about football at all.

After graduating from UGA, I started getting into football, and UGA was my team. Didn't care much for NFL football, though.

Got married to a woman who loved the Patriots, so I started getting into the NFL for her sake, and I supported the Pats because she adopted the Dawgs. Recently, I started getting sentimental for the home team (my real home, not this liberal state I live in currently), I started getting mushy over the Falcons.

Right now, I'm a Patriots and Falcons fan, and if the Broncos combusted like the drummer from Spinal Tap, I wouldn't bat an eye.

I may live in Colorado now, but I support the Dawgs and the Dirty Birds, win or lose.

Valid reasons for all of your teams IMO.

Tom Brady is a beast.

I'm a conservative as well and I could never live in the north. I don't even talk politics much because everyone gets bent out of shape but I don't agree with the government bashing I hate crap.

I was born in 68. I've seen plenty of shitty seasons from the Falcons. I've had enough. Besides, pro football doesn't really matter. College football is king, and I'm a Dawg lifer!
