I'm not sold so far. Some interesting plays but far, far too many half assed runs up the middle with a line that just can't open holes. Once again, no screens, one reverse play, and certainly no air raid offense.

Extremely affected by the lack of spring practice/installation and the QB situation probably is not exactly how he envisioned it. I expect significant progress as the season moves along and into next season.

Did you see the TD to the Fullback inside the 1? What do you want?

Monken calls a great game. The scheme is effective, and he adjusts as necessary.

Other than some sloppy play that's getting better week by week, there's nothing to complain about.

Being a UGA fan has made a lot of us pretty much professionals when it comes to bitching about OCs and I actually think Monken has done a good job so far

If you actually thought he ran the “air raid” that’s on you. And if you think calling the right plays to get Stetson Bennett comparable numbers to Fromm is easy without a great run game that’s on you too. Monken isn’t mike leach and never claimed to be. He runs a slightly different version of the spread than we previously did with more emphasis on the pass. I think he’s done well with what he’s been given.

Exactly. He's maximizing with what he has.

Don’t think for one minute it was Monken’s idea to go conservative in 3rd quarter.

He also needs to use the MIDDLE of the field... His scheme opens it up. Hopefully we’ll let it all go next week. Gonna be fun to watch it next week.

As of now... I’m sold. We’re 3-0 including 2 ranked wins with a former walk-on QB.

I mean, how fricking terrible were we against ranked Tennessee and Auburn teams in the 80s and 90s? I’m just trying to enjoy this ride.

It's looked pretty good. I could live without the 4th down embarrassments, though.

Periods of great scheming, but also has too many series that don't really make sense. Can't afford those against good teams

Huh? He uses the middle of the field continually in our passing game. Something we rarely did the
last couple of year.

If anything,we need to attack the corners much more with our run game.

That first one in our own territory was a stupid decision. The one on the goal line was simply an embarrassment for our offensive line. Kirby should put that on a loop replay in the OL room.

I think Tennessee played good, physical defense. UGA's offense faced some real adversity for the first time this year, and I think they responded well. This game made us better.

Monken is doing fine. He has adjusted well to losing Newman, then having Mathis come up a bust in his first start. He isn't giving Bennett more than he can handle.
