What's the goal this season?

9-1 with a playoff birth should be the goal.

It is reasonable and reachable. Especially with Oklahoma having lost two games already and Texas losing one already. If Oklahoma gets straightened out and beats Texas the BIG 12 will be hard pressed to get a playoff berth, and that opens up a spot for two teams from one conference.

That would likely come from the SEC or BIG 10, depending on how their season plays out.

Seriously, why is this a question. The goal is SECCG with a shot at the playoffs, just like every year

in my best really bad Vince voice,

"We are very fortunate to have scraped by two very good teams, especially Arkansas that really had us on the ropes. Now, we have a dramatically improved Tennessee Volunteer team that has shown that they can beat ANYBODY coming in to town. We just have to block, tackle and play hard and HOPE that we can execute well enough to keep from embarrassing ourselves"

Well, we have to end apartheid, for one. And slow down the nuclear arms race, stop terrorism, and world hunger. We have to provide food and shelter for the homeless, and oppose racial discrimination, and promote civil rights, while also promoting equal rights for women. We have to encourage a return to traditional moral values. Most importantly, we have to promote general social concern and less materialism in young people.
