Agreed. Last night the jerseys looked matte black. The older ones seemed to shine under the lights. The red dog collar look was also bad.

I would imagine the draw to the back jerseys comes from the fact our school colors are Red and Black.

Out on a limb here....

These were the mascot anniversary edition jerseys, like the 40th anniversary whites we wore in the first game of the year. One and dones from Nike.

Just use the regular black jerseys once a year, the players love em.

I never brought racial innuendo into the gist of the point.

In fact I never considered it until now. Is this it? Are the black jerseys a social justice predictive action?


I don't see it that way in no manner, but do you and others see it as such?
