Credit to JetDawg posting this on SEC Rant.

"They all come from hometowns on a highway that runs through Winnersville, GA, aka, Athens G-A!!

Uh-oh. Gunner's the next one."

Not trying to be a scrooge, but 441 doesn't run through Herschelville or Stetsonville

It could, imagine Wrightsville would change its name to Herscheltown, same with Blackshear, also sure if Gunner wins a NC coming in like he has, Rabun County would change itself to Gunner County.

It’s Ga 15.

Goes through Rabun County east of Tiger, Athens, Wrightsville, and Blackshear.

It ends in Champ’s hometown Folkston.

That’s north of Greensboro right after you get into Greene County.

When I was a kid going to the Florida game, my dad would take 15 to Folkston then US 1 to Jacksonville. Always slowed down in Blackshear because it was a speed trap.

Yep, you're correct.

My apologies.

All rural Georgians, all native Georgians, all played at single county high schools. Hopefully all national champions before long.

Good call! I used to take that road back when I sold weed just to avoid Putnam County. The Eatonton Bypass was like a military state up unitl about 10 years ago, and then the Sheriff's Office did a 180 and started leaving everybody alone for some unknown reason.
