People have convinced themselves that they have to act and talk like the coaches and players regarding our opponents, or else bad things will happen.
I'm as superstitious as anyone else out there, but we all really need to chill with emulating the coach speak online. Nothing we say or do on this hellscape of a website has any bearing on the games.
