That last TD by Bama brought back memories of 2017 when Tua threw that bomb for the winning touchdown. Bama had just had a sack that pushed them to like 2nd and 28 or something like that. Against Auburn they had a mis-snap and a sack that made it 4th and 30. I suppose that the committee could have dropped us from #1 to #5 with a loss to a 2 loss team, but it's not likely. Now if we lose we are almost certainly out. It is kind of fitting however that we have to once again get past our main demon to get to the promised land. If we were able to win the NC with a SECCG loss; it would kind of add sour note to it. In 2021 we were able to redeem that loss.
