I was at the game so it’s hard to get the full picture and commentary. But after watching on TV for the first time, damn we are not bad as I thought.

Yea, we could have run more but Fromm did the following.

1) Pass in the ground on the dig route to Swift with 20 yards of grass in front of him for first down, instead had to punt.

2) Piss poor passing most of the game with about 6 or 7 throws that we’re back shoulder or WR’s making plays to bail him out

3) Threw multiple INT’s

4) Took us out of FG range with that dumbass sack running around not paying attention to the back side.

The loss isn’t on Chaney, it’s on Fromm for his terrible performance and on Kirby for not making the switch to stop the bleeding that Fromm was inflicting.

I question your knowledge then. It was a total team effort outside of Baker, Swift, and Holyfield.

@ Dawg4Life47 So your basically your team Fields too? This has to stop. Fromm had a really bad game, Ray Charles could see that. Clearly Fields isn't ready for prime time yet. You were there so you know that environment isn't where you throw in a true freshman and expect him to take over.

Overthrowing Hardman for what should have been a wide open TD on the first drive was the tone setter

so you dont blame the play caller for throwing more when your run game is doing well and the pass the game is struggling?

You are proving my point that Fromm should have been pulled but the pass plays called weren’t bad, execution was

Hey, Turd what I am saying is for that game the QB should have been switched out.

If it doesn’t work, you fix it.

I don’t care who the frick starts, that is irrelevant

Also not seeing a wide open Godwin for a TD, and making a poor pass to a wide open Robertson for the TD on a wheel route. It's a team loss, but Fromm left 24 points on the board.

No it wasn’t...the Defense was on the field for 80 plays.

No defense can hold up under those amount of plays.

messing up during the game happens but when one main player does that many times, you don’t keep them in there.

So many frick ups by Fromm. Never seen a worse game outside of Quincy in 2000 at USCe.

Difference is that he was paid by bookies to throw that game, needed the money for his coke problem.

His connections got Billy Bennett all fricked up on coke too, specifically for the LSU debacle in 2003.

Do you know how they can not be on the field for 80 plays? Make some fricking plays to stop their drives.

I don’t blame him for the Godwin one. He’d literally just moved past him on the progression. The Robertson pass was really poor and Demetris did an equally poor job of knowing where he was on the court.

When you hear Kirby, post game, it's hard not to be able to read between the lines. Fields isn't ready.

That doesn't explain why Fields only went in for one play at a time. Give him two plays, three plays. Hell, get crazy and give him four plays.

I really don't understand this riddle.

I find it odd that so many people take everything he says in press conferences at face value.

Kirby, like most coaches, says whatever he wants/needs to say to send the message he wants.

I'm not accusing him of lying, but this thought process that people are following to conclude that Fields is "not ready" seems disingenuous.

I'm a believer in Occam's Razor. Many suggest that the simplest explanation is that Fields is woefully unprepared to do something as complex as throw a football in a game. To the contrary, I find the simplest explanation to be that Kirby has been trying to keep two QBs happy to prevent a transfer all while being as conservative as possible.

The strategy appears to be biting him in the arse, because the QB controversy is here in full now. Fromm simply has played so poorly that people want to see an alternative.
