If tweet fails to load, click here. For those unaware, a court, in Lubbock, made (what's the proper term here new money) an injunction today the said Sorbsy could play in 2026 despite gambling excessively at his previous stops, including betting on his own team when he was at Indiana.
Obviously set off a lot of reactions. Sport is on a life line but I like this move from JB. frick Texas Tech for this nonsense and if the Big 12 had any balls they would kick them out of the conference.

Good. If the "governing body" has been completely neutered, the logical next step is self-governance.
Maybe this is a blessing in disguise and we can take our sport back. Probably not, but at least we know even the money hungry leeches have a red line.

Nebraska refusing to schedule them also, Big 10 in discussion as well. I’m betting we hear something similar from Sankey in the next 24 hours.

Any random judge can grant an injunction on anything from the border to college eligibility these days.
Rogue judges are out of control

Georgia vowing not to schedule Texas Tech doesn't make a frick, but If all the Big 12 teams on Texas Tech's schedule agree to forefeit their games against them, that would hit Texas Tech squarely in the nuts and force their hand.

I doubt any of the Big12 schools are going to forfeit and take a loss.

They will if it means stopping activity like that being acceptable

No. They won’t. It’s too much lost revenue.
Do you really think UGA would walk away from the home game and TV revenue if it was LSU or Ole Miss?

Not sure anyone would lose TV revenue.. They would just replace it.

Finding an FCS team with an open week that’s willing to come to your place and play isn’t going to generate the same level of revenue, and that would be about the only option at this point.

You are thinking inside the box, there are other ways to bring bigger teams in to replace them... The Upper Mid Major teams are always looking to play up.
