Streamers aren't screwed. Have failed yet to miss a UGA game on streameast. But if no one wants to do that then they are missing a viable option. All Baseball, NFL, etc., games.

streameast

By far the best streaming website for all sports ... it is the Rolls Royce. Plus it's free. The only hang-up for me is not being able to cast the broadcast to my smart tv. But then again, I could be doing something wrong. I might ditch Spectrum after the Dawgs win the NC Jan 9th, 2023 and go with streameast.

Spiff, does streameast show NFL games too? Might not pull the trigger on Sunday Ticket this year if so.

Yes. Every single one of them. My son is a huge Jets fan so we watch them all - never have missed a game that we were able to be at home to watch. Streameast won't list games until a few hours or so before the game. It even shows college gameday. Super easy to use.

YEARS ago I would try to stream movies or NFL games on some weird website, can't rememeber the name of it. It had a ton of popups and half the streams you clicked on wouldn't work. Is Streameast user friendly or does it have extra steps you have to figure out?

Extrememly user friendly. No pop-ups and the only ads are commercials from the channel its viewing.

I have a firestick with sling but don't have espn. I've watched all the UGA games on it.

streameast.live
streameast.xyz
and there is another streameast. something but can't remember off the top of my head. There are copycats that are fake sites, so .live or .xyz are the ones to go.

As is said, we've also watched any nfl/baseball/etc game we wanted with no issues. As long as you have reliable internet connection, you will have no issues. I've used it on my phone a couple times, too.

We have a firestick, do you also need sling to use it?

No. Not sure why I put that on there but thats where espn normally resides if not paying for the app seperately. Just use the internet app on it and you will be good to go.

Lots of false info in this thread. If you’re with youtubetv , you won’t be able to watch it . Same as last year.

The whole point of espn doing this is to try and lure cord-cutters to their stand-alone subscription streaming platforms. They do this for other big time SEC teams once a year as well. The suckers who are still with xfinity, etc will get free access to the espn pluses as a reward for those companies being like-minded rip-off artists that are loyal to the cabal. But the sane and independent minded people that chose to free themselves from that tyranny will be left out in cold

I’m fine with listening to this one on the AM radio. Actually looking forward to it

Don’t be suckers. Don’t feed the vile beast networks for f’n Kent state

The following might answer your question .. and perhaps questions others might have about watching the game Saturday. Hope this helps.
quote:

ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs are set to take the field on Saturday to face Kent State in the third non-conference game of the year. Here's the rundown on what to expect in the conference matchup.

TV, Streaming Info
Kickoff: Noon p.m. ET, Saturday, Sept. 24
TV:
Streaming: ESPN+/SEC Network+/WATCHESPN
SEC Network+ is a complimentary digital platform providing hundreds of additional digital-only events to fans through the ESPN App on connected devices. SEC Network+ is not a television channel. It is accessible with your TV provider credentials and is available via the ESPN app on smartphones, tablets, connected streaming devices, or espn.com/watch. For those with a Smart TV or one of the devices listed here you can download the ESPN app and it will ask you to log in with your TV provider credentials. You may also be able to cast it to your Smart TV from your laptop.

For SEC Network authenticated subscribers of AT&T TV, Cox, DIRECTV, DISH Network, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, Optimum, Sling TV, Spectrum TV, Suddenlink, Verizon Fios, Xfinity TV, YouTube TV, Vidgo, members of the NCTC, as well as those with access to SEC Network through TV-connected devices, you can watch the game via SEC Network+.
If you do not have access to SEC Network, you can access games via a subscription to ESPN+. SEC Network+ is complementary to SEC Network and part of your subscription with your cable, satellite, or streaming provider. For those who have an Xfinity X1 cable box and SEC Network, you can watch it through your cable box - it should show up on your guide, it will just be streaming vs an actual channel.

I can log into the espn app with my YouTubeTV credentials, it shows up as and SEC Network+ broadcast (as well as ESPN+). I can watch any SECN+ broadcast this way on the roku ESPN app.

Yep.

Not without subscribing and paying a fee.

I just did all of above to recheck. When you click the upcoming Kent State vs #1 Georgia box featuring a photo of the front runner Heisman candidate Stetson Bennett, it takes you to a subscription page. Either $99.99/year or $9.99/month

Okay, that was for Espn+.

I just tried SecNetwork+ and when I click Stet, it says “This event has not started yet”. There’s nothing live on SecNetwork+ right now for me to test, but I guess this means I will be able to get it?

If so then youtubeTV people can get SecNetwork+, but not Espn+? Fine by me, but this is a convoluted shite show

You were right, I was wrong.

I don’t get ESPN+ , but I’m able to watch a UGA vs Miss state womens volleyball game on SECNetwork+ right now through the convoluted youtubetv > to espn app > to buried SECNetwork+ section

There’s also a listing for the upcoming halftime show for Georgia Kent state which is kind of cool. Wouldn’t pay extra for it, but I’ll definitely check it out Saturday

There should be an app that lets you "borrow" streaming services from other people for a small fee.

Like I pay someone $5 to use their ESPN subscription for 5 hours. I wouldn't know who I'm buying the service from; their credentials and identity would be encrypted. Kinda like ticketmaster where you buy tickets from a total stranger to watch a game, except you're just watching from home.

I have Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle. Having that gives you full access to all ESPN+ and SECN+ games. It will be the same broadcast with the same announcers on both.
