Fox subbing patterns has been puzzling since his arrival. Team needs some sort of spark. I feel like he should just change the offense right now for the rest of season or at least shake things up and let them run. I know they don’t have the personnel to really do that but shite this offense they are running now sure isn’t working

Can we unsticky this thread? It's depressing. And it's a stupid sport anyway.

Therein lies the problem. Most of our fans simply do not have a vested interest in basketball or at least support that is nowhere near the level of support compared to football. Our admins are fully aware of this so they adjust their level of commitment accordingly.

Hammonds has stopped producing on both ends would be why has lost production. I really have the feeling that all parties are sensing the end is near.

Yep, Fox to a large extent has been a one trick pony. He has been good at getting 1 outstanding player to anchor the team but has failed in building a sufficient supporting cast around said player. Bottom line: he simply has not been able to recruit enough good players to build a complete team.
And to keep it in perspective, my expectations relative to basketball are nowhere near that of football but we should at least be competitive in the SEC and make it into the NCAA tournament consistently.

We're the #14 seed in the SEC right now per the SEC Rant

Yep, that's pathetic. I get that we will never compete in basketball at Kentucky's level but for heaven's sake we should at least be better than South Carolina, MSU, Ole Miss, Vandy, etc.

We’re not the 14 seed, but whatever. It’s still not good.

Oh it was Kenpom projections. Guess they don’t expect much given out remaining schedule

Down 9 at half after pulling to within 3 minutes before.

They look like hammered shite.
ETA: I'd fire Fox and my first call would be to Tony Bennett, who would say no. Maybe try and get someone off of his staff.

This team is in the tank for sure. The guys that give a shite look frustrated and everyone else is going through the motions.

I just don't get what we're trying to do. We have no consistency, in part because our lineups are changing every game. Makes no sense. I really do like Mark, and I think he's done a good job getting our program back to at least being mediocre, but it's about time for him to go.
I know people will say it's past time, which I can understand, but let's just wait until the end of the season, and then make a good hire.

Crump is the most hit or miss player I can remember watching play.

8 minutes left in the second half and Turtle Jackson scores his first points. Holy shite.

Bottom line: A new philosophy and leadership structure is needed.

We're getting crushed on the boards by the smallest team in the conference
