Fox wasted Matens career by surrounding him by players like Mike Edwards. And lol State just took it out of our players hands as he dribble

Probably bawling out in practice but he doesn't buy into passing it around the three point arc for 24 seconds then shoot or drive offense

It's like our players aren't coached at all and don't know what to do when things like double teams, etc, happen.

16 minutes into the game and they have 17 more shots than us. Yante doesn't have a fg

Yante (and the rest of the team) has been giving piss poor effort tonight. Just getting killed on the boards.

I think Fox is pissed. Looked like he was yelling at Yante. Seriously looks like he is losing this team and they are giving up on this style of play.

Fire Fox. That won't happen until we get a new AD though. Our current one is just coasting on Smarts success.

McEars has two years before he can retire. I don’t think he’ll change status quo. I don’t want him hiring a new coach anyway, I’d rather let the future AD make that call.

Fox has to gp along with Mcgarity (retirement or not)

But isn't getting a brand new facility the bigger question here?

Look what AU is doing now and there s no doubt their new arena played a part.GT has a new place (granted not helping much) SC went to the final 4 last year and has pretty close to a state of the art facility Hell, even OM has a new place.

We're gonna keep slipping with or without Fox and Mcgarity unless we get Stegman replaced.

Stegeman isn't getting replaced anytime soon. Honestly, the renovations they did on the interior and the addition of the new jumbotron went a long way toward making it feel like a decent facility.

Carolina is a bad comparison given that Colonial Lifeis Columbia's version of Phillips Arena and hosts a lot of other events (concerts, conferences, etc).

AU's success has a lot less to do with a new arena and more to do with Pearl. OM just has a nicer place to suck in. Same for Tech.

Only place a new basketball arena could.should go would be downtown and UGA isn't going to give up ownership of the arena to a non-University entity like the Classic Center. Especially not when the product on the court is so mediocre as to not draw a consistent sellout crowd.

Disagree, not impressed by the renovations...gone from a shitpile to a little better shitpile.

I get it but still a more impressive place by Stegman by a mile.

Sure he's a big factor bit I obviously think the new place was part of the puzzle.

Yea,I get that we won't replace Stegman anytime soon after the renovation bit the facility is still one of the worst in the SEC.

A new facility needs to be part of a long term plan and if need be,something worked out between the school and the Classic Ctr Authority or COA.

Facilities do matter except I guess if your Duke or Butler
