Since I cannot just drive up to Athens to try it on...I thought I'd ask here. I bought one of these hats before but the hat itself was kinda shallow meaning it stopped a little above the ears. So it just sort of sat on the top of my head and looked small. My question for those who know...have the newer version of the hat been made deeper?

The red fitted version by Game was discontinued years ago.

I had that hat from 1988 or so to 1993. Wore it everywhere- hunting, fishing, class. Towards the end I could whistle and it would run to my head

The only other Georgia hat that I really like isn't made anymore...It is solid red with a big G logo in the front and the old bulldog face on the back. That one also us stretch/fitted so no button hook. I recently found one matching that description and it was made by Top of World, but unfortunately it was only in youth sizes

That is literally the exact hat I have. Been wearing it since 2007 and it's pretty much salmon colored at this point and the bill is frayed. I just don't want to retire it bc I don't really like most of the new type of hats

That's my fav as well... mine is pink, the bill is so frayed that my wife complains every time I wear it... Haven't been happy with anything since.

Definitely seen better days. If we won the natty 2 years ago I was going to retire it. I guess I'll keep wearing it until I have a solid reason to hang it up.

This was my favorite, had it for years, but ruined it last year doing Garage Door mainenance and it got slicked up with grease. Almost a year ago to the day.

I think this ones about 8 or 9 years old. Used to be black, but now it's a nice faded greyish color.
Pros:
-there's no top, so it's air conditioned
-larger bill compared to unfunctional tiny visors like gus malzahn types wear.
-super comfortable plush inner headband with upper seam sweat venting technology
Cons:
-they don't make this style in the black anymore dammit

I’m not a visor guy. I’m a guy that likes every advantage possible when it’s 96 or whatever it got up to today.

I was a visor guy in my 20's when I lived in Mount Pleasant. I was new in town and trying to fit in and make friends.
