Why speculate? There's already been a decent article breakdown...

Alabama appears to have the tiebreakers over everybody and thus has the fifth seed. So the highest Georgia can finish is sixth, but it can fall no further than ninth. Georgia has the tiebreakers over Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, but would lose the tiebreaker to Texas A&M.
Here’s who each team plays Saturday:
Georgia: at Arkansas, 2 p.m.
Ole Miss: vs. South Carolina, 8:30 p.m.
Vanderbilt: vs. Florida, 2 p.m.
Texas A&M: vs. Kentucky, noon.
Basically, if Georgia upsets Arkansas, then it will get the sixth seed. But even if it doesn’t, it could be seeded sixth if the other teams all lose, which is conceivable. For each of those teams that win, Georgia would fall a spot. Hence, if all three win and Georgia loses, it falls to ninth.

So Bama has the 5 seed. I didn't realize that the tie-breaker went head to head, Theeeeeeen, it goes to record vs #1 team, then #2, etc etc.
So if we take the 6 seed, which now looks highly likely, we will probably play the winner of LSU/Auburn, then South Carolina, then Florida, then Kentucky.

I think they must have taken down the projected bracket from that article... that or it was another one that I can't find now, but that sounds correct. I think Mizzou/Miss St was feeding into the quarter where Arkansas sat and LSU/Auburn was feeding the South Carolina quarter.
It's certainly feasible that Ole Miss, A&M, and Vandy all lose given their matchups are against the top 3 teams, while obviously our game is no guaranteed win either going against current #4 Arkansas. Kind of wild how the 4 top teams ended up with games against the next 4 for the final game of the season honestly.
Does Arkansas have the tie-breaker on South Carolina? If not, then it would seem SC is locked in at 3 and Ark locked in at 4. Even if not, the only scenario that puts Ark tied is if we lose Saturday and South Carolina loses to Ole Miss, which would mean 7th would be our highest possible seed. Mostly we want to avoid 8/9 to stay out of the Kentucky quarter, but I think you want to keep the 6 and draw South Carolina if you have your pick. Long story short, win Saturday... it's the best chance for making a case for a NCAAT bid and it gives you the best entry point in the SECT to boot.

Don't look now but supposedly the committee is looking to get rid of BPI/RPI and road scoring margins will have an impact on teams. That would greatly benefit our team as far as making the tourney. OT vs two top 15 teams and losing by 2 to another top 25 team all on the road.

Yeah, I saw the article as well... nothing official and likely not something that would just get inserted as criteria this year. But could have some impact on whichever committee members are pushing for it.
Aggregate metric to be used as early as 2018.
Or in other words... very unlikely to impact the Dawgs significantly this year, but maybe makes Fox's less than appealing coaching more appealing for tournament selection going forward?

It should have an impact on the way teams are viewed. I hate that when you lose to a team ranked higher than you, you drop in rankings no matter how well you play or how close the game.

According to my ESPN app, the line is even on this game....very interesting. I thought we'd be a 4.5 point dog

Free throws and rebounding keeping us alive

All crump can do right now is shoot...although his defense has gotten better. When he figures out how to drive at this level he will be some kinda dynamic. Looks like he has never played with guys this tall in the paint.
All we have to do is hit our open shots and keep playing like we are defensively and On the boards. JJ is getting pissed and may take off in the second half.

4 fouls in 2 minutes.
Cool

Woolridge is a fricking liability at the 4. Turtle Jackson should be charged for Ogbiede 3rd foul. Simple fricking basketball, if a man is going to set a screen, wait for him to get set. God damn.
